Maintenance contracts are sold on a rolling 12-month basis

The initial maintenance start date is the 1st day of the month following the date on your order. However, as a customer, you are covered under maintenance from the time of the order date. For example: if you purchased a new product on May 15, 2007, your maintenance start date would be June 1, 2007 and you would receive maintenance upgrades from the date of purchase through May 31, 2008.

Synchronizing Renewal Dates for Current Customers

If you currently own Inmagic products and buy additional product, you may synchronize all your Inmagic maintenance contracts to end on a single date.

Product Interdependencies

There are interdependencies between products. Therefore, your TextWorks licenses must be on maintenance before you can purchase a maintenance contract on any other product. The Genie maintenance contract covers both the Genie application and TextWorks and WebPublisher PRO software.

IMPORTANT: The TextWorks and WebPublisher PRO version 8 release introduces some rigid interdependencies between the products. Therefore, if you use both TextWorks and an unsupported Inmagic Web publishing product such as WebPublisher, WebPublisher Lite, WebPublisher PRO Lite or any version of WebPublisher PRO less than version 8 you must upgrade both your products to the current version (v11) in order for them to work correctly.

Maintenance Notifications

Notifications of the availability of new maintenance releases are emailed to clients, with a link to the download site and a password specific to the software serial number. Contact us if your contact email address changes, or if maintenance notification emails are not being received.
