TextWorks is a component of Inmagic's DB/Text and Content Server information management solutions. On either the DB/Text or Content Server platform, the Windows-based TextWorks client allows users to create, maintain, and search a flexible database that we call a "textbase," independent of IT support. TextWorks can be used in conjunction with WebPublisher PRO, Inmagic's interactive Web publishing solution, to subsequently publish your textbase on the Web or your company's Intranet.

DB/Textworks & Version 11 out now - Microsoft Vista compatability:
The new releases of DB/Textworks v11 and WebPublisher PRO v11 are important releases for customers planning to migrate to Microsoft Vista operating system. They also include serveral features for improved ease of use and overall user experience.
Version 11 will automatically be sent to currently maintained DB/TextWorks customers as part of their annual maintenance contract so they can take advantage of these new features at no additional cost. If you dont have a maintenance contract and would like to upgrade to v11, email Sara Elliss to find out how you can upgrade.
New DB/TextWorks v11 features include:
| Vista compatibility | Ensures that users are able to run on the latest Microsoft operating system. |
| File checker | Allows users to verify that files referenced on the local or network directory exist. This feature is similar to the URL checker but for UNC referenced files. |
| Limited undo in form designer | Allows users to undo the last action performed in the form designer; available for specific action types such as moving or inserting boxes. |
| HTML report preview | Preview shows what a report will look like displayed in a web environment, allowing form designers to save time and create better-looking output on the first try. |
| Ability to select form for any Edit Secondary Record window | Improves the ease with which secondary records can be edited and miantained. |
